That’s a wrap for our fantastic year 4 camp! Thank you to the amazing staff at Birrigai who have looked after us so well! We are due back on time to school at 2.45pm.

Our year 4s have had a great first day of activities here at Birrigai! We have been busy settling in, exploring the bush, crate climbing and team challenges! More photos to follow!

Our Limelight students continue to build their performance skills with choir coaching and a massed dance rehearsal this week.

Year 4s are headed to Birrigai for their first overnight camp.

Year 3 and 4 netballers head off for a gala day on Thursday.

The AFP will deliver the ThinkUKnow program to our Year 6 students which is always an impactful session for them to learn online safety and privacy.

We are heading into another busy week of school events!

It is our preschool's turn to have their book week dress up days on Tuesday (Mugmugs) and Thursday (Gang-gangs).

We are excited to be welcoming Shelly Unwin for an author visit on Wednesday.

Kindergarten are off on an excursion to the reptile zoo and we will be hosted by Year 1 for a junior assembly on Friday.

Crazy, fantastical, weird, and down-right mystifying? Our Photo of the Week comes from Forrest Primary School who have kicked off their Book Week celebrations early with their annual Book Week parade! 📖

Today, hundreds of kids arrived to school dressed up as their favourite characters from their favourite novels across countless genres to mark the beginning of what is going to be a fantastic Book Week for our public schools here in the ACT.

The parade was held on the school basketball courts in front of parents and carers, as well as staff and other students, giving kids the chance to proudly display the thought and effort that went into making their favourite characters come to life for the day.

We can’t wait to see the Book Week celebrations continue next week!🧝

BOOK WEEK DRESS UP DAYS

Students are encouraged to come to school on the date below dressed as their favourite book or character.

Kinder to Year 6 Book Week dress-up day is next Friday 21 August. Families are welcome to join us for a parade on the basketball court at 9.15am.

Preschool beginning of the week (Mugmugs) dress-up day is Tuesday 25 August

Preschool end of the week (Gang Gangs) dress-up is Thursday 27 August
