What a wonderful day of stories, laughter and community! Thank you to all the families, early learning centres, preschools and community members who joined Libraries ACT for National Simultaneous Storytime 2026.

A special thank you to our guest speakers, Library staff, and partners at Australian Library and Information Association for helping make this nationwide celebration so vibrant and memorable.

πŸ“– This year, thousands of children across Australia and New Zealand shared Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller at the very same moment reminding us of the power of stories to connect us all.
