We are so incredibly proud of two of our talented Year 6 students, Alexi and Alisa, whose artwork entry in the Reconciliation Day Poster Competition was chosen as a Top 10 Finalist! ✨
Open to ACT students from Kindergarten to Year 10, this competition celebrates creativity, culture and connection. Yesterday, their beautiful work was on display at the Reconciliation Day event in Parkes alongside other outstanding student entries from across the ACT.
Congratulations to Alexi and Alisa for this wonderful achievement and for using their creativity to share such a meaningful piece of art with a strong message. 🩵💙🤍

Stymie is officially live at our school!!

Stymie is an anonymous reporting platform that gives students a safe, confidential way to speak up.

Yesterday, from classroom to staff room, our school community has engaged in professional learning to make sure every student knows help is available.

Today our Junior Campus celebrated National Simultaneous Storytime! 📚 We enjoyed a live reading of Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller, with all classes joining in. Kindergarten students created adorable Luna Roo headbands, Year 1/2 joined an online drawing session with the author and illustrator and created some amazing drawings of Luna Roo, and Years 3/4 and 5/6 designed their own soccer jerseys. A fun and creative day for everyone!

On Tuesday, 12 of our junior and senior students attended the Winnunga National Sorry Day Event. It was an invaluable experience filled with powerful truth-telling, a traditional smoking ceremony, and a guest performance by Casey Donovan.
Shoutout to our students who collaborated across campuses to create our school banner, bringing home two resource goodie bags for their efforts! We are so proud of how beautifully you represented our school.

JUNIOR CAMPUS
🧦 Crazy Sock Day + Reconciliation Day – Friday! 🧦

Get ready to rock your craziest socks as we come together for a special day of fun, connection and reflection during our Reconciliation Day activities. Students are also welcome to wear yellow, in line with the Senior Campus. 💛

Bring along a gold coin donation, with funds supporting our Year 6 Parliament fundraising and future school initiatives. There’ll even be prizes up for grabs for the craziest socks in each cohort… so get creative, colourful and mismatched!

We can’t wait to see our community stepping out in style while coming together to celebrate reconciliation, belonging and connection. ✨

“What’s high school really like?”
Our Year 6 students had plenty of questions for our Year 10 leaders today! From timetables and lockers to friendships, homework and opportunities, our students gained valuable insights and reassurance as they prepare for the move to high school.
Thank you Leon, Levi and Colby ✨

Today at the Junior Campus, students participated in a hands-on learning day. During the first break students designed, decorated and created paper planes. It was wonderful to watch them share their ideas and help each other bring their designs to life. During the second break, students took part in a series of flying challenges. These included competitions for the furthest flight, the longest flight time, and aiming to hit a hoop target. Overall, it was a fun and engaging experience for everyone involved 😊✨💛
