Big Congratulations to Eva Salleras for competing at Peninsula Trials. Eva represented Peninsula in the Queensland State School Swimming Championships in Brisbane. Competing in 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke, 100m freestyle, 200m freestyle relay, and 200m medelly relay (butterfly leg) Eva achieved 2 PB's.

JUNE Cotter has been recognised for 15 years of service as a para sport classifier, with the award presented at the 2026 Classifier Conference.

Over the weekend we had the privilege of having our local Coast Guard Cardwell QF23 using the pool for some life raft Training. Congratulations to all the new members.

We hope everyone has been enjoying all the festivities over the Christmas period. We do have some changes to our opening hours and hope that Santa and his elves bring all the joy and happiness to you and your family.

Like many places we are closed on December 24th, 25th and 26th.
