Today we celebrated Catholic Education Week for the Diocese of Ballarat Catholic Education Limited at St Joseph's Coleraine.

We shared the day with the Western Trinity (St Malachy's School, Edenhope and Sacred Heart Casteron), as well as St Joseph's Primary School, Penshurst, as well as the St Mary's Primary School Hamilton 3300 school captains and old Trinity students who now attend Monivae College.

We began the day with a mass with Father John and Father Cay, who were happy to join our leaders for a photograph at the end of the mass.

Sovereign Hill Camp – Back to the 1850s!

It feels like a long time ago now, but in the first week of term our Grade 5/6 students travelled with the Western Trinity schools to Sovereign Hill for an unforgettable camp experience.

Students stepped back in time to the 1850s and experienced what school life was like for both the β€œposh” students and the β€œraggies”!

From gold panning and candle making to the spectacular sound and light show, the camp was packed with hands-on learning and memorable experiences. It was an incredible opportunity for students to learn about Australia’s gold rush history and experience just how different life was in the past.
