Casula Station received a Firecall to an unknown fire in Macquarie Fields

Casula Pumper and Georges River 1 was responded to Victoria rd Macquarie Fields

On arrival to a Water Recycling plant Casula Pumper located a fire coming from a Waste Gas Burner which is a normal procedure for an excess gas burn off.

Saturday 8/8/2026 @ 16.38 Casula Station received a call to a STRUCTURAL Fire in Leppington.

Casula Pump was responded.

On arrival was a Home dwelling/Garage well alight.

Catherine Field 1, Middleton 1,Horsley Park Pump were also in attendance.

A large turnout from Police and Ambulance were also in attendance.

No persons were injured.

Today, We had an extra ordinary training day for our new members and also with other members from Cobbitty and Catherine field coming to join in.

This was a very constructive, product and enjoyable day.

Followed up by an appetising lunch.

On arrival to Edmondson ave, they located a Fire hydrant which had burst a valve.
Forced entry was made so the water valve could be shut down.
