Shout to one of our Deputy Captains who is part of this deployment to South Australia.

We wish him all the best and hope for a safe return!

More than 55 NSW personnel made their way to South Australia today to help fight the Deep Creek Fire, south of Adelaide. Among the group are 46 members from the , 10 from Forestry Corporation and one from the NSW SES. These strike teams will provide much-needed rest opportunities for SA Country Fire Service crews, who have now been battling the blaze for five days.

We wish them a safe journey and deployment💛

Early this morning Casula Pumper responded to assist FRNSW with a Unit Fire in the Panorama Estate at Glenfield. Crews arrived to find the two story townhouse totally involved in fire with parts of the building collapsing.

Casula firefighters worked in breathing apparatus on four hoselines inside and outside the building assisting FRNSW crews from Macquarie Fields, Horningsea Park, St Andrews and Ingleburn to extinguish the fire and prevent it spreading through the complex.

Late last night Casula Pumper responded to a building fire at Rossmore, which was well alight on arrival. Firefighters worked in breathing apparatus for several hours to extinguish the fire. RFS crews attended from Middleton, Wallacia, Erskine Park, Horsley Park, Catherine Field, Narellan, Bulk Water & Macarthur Support.

This was our biggest turnout by far! Casula Brigade wishes everybody a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Yesterday afternoon Casula Pumper responded to assist FRNSW crews with a House Fire at Cecil Hills. Crews worked in hot temperatures for several hours to bring the fire under control, which spread throughout the roof and severely damaged the house. Crews attended from Horningsea Park, Busby, Bonnyrigg Heights, Smithfield, Cabramatta, Yennora, Campbelltown and Huntingwood.
