Early this morning we were called to a car fire on Bringelly road, Bradfield. On arrival we found a car fully involved and that the fire had spread to the scrub in the median strip.

Crews quickly got to work containing the scrub fire, whilst crews in BA began to extinguish the vehicle.

Thankyou to NSW RFS - Casula Brigade and NSW RFS - Narellan Brigade for your assistance. TMC were also in attendance, closing the road and cleaning up the fluids after.

A huge thank you to our wonderful neighbours at Catherine Field Preschool!

Today we had some very special visitors drop into our new station to say hello. The children and educators brought along a beautiful piece of welcome-home artwork to help us celebrate our new home.

The smiles, excitement and creativity on display certainly brightened our day, and the artwork has already found a special place at the station.

We're incredibly grateful for the warm welcome and support from our local community. Thank you to all the children and staff for taking the time to visit us – we loved having you stop by and look forward to seeing you again soon!

Last night at 19:22, crews from Catherine Field attended an animal rescue to assist a local resident retrieve their pet budgie, who had become stuck high in a tree for several hours.

Working alongside NSW RFS - Middleton Brigade, firefighters successfully rescued the bird unharmed and safely reunited it with its very relieved family.

A great outcome and another reminder that brigades are always ready to assist the community, no matter the situation. 🐦🚒
