Cessnock Library wants to give a big shout out to Bob Donaldson, our newest local history hero. Bob has taken two damaged local history photographs and spent an enormous amount of time – 30 hours on one of the photographs! – to restore them both beautifully. We can now use these images in so many ways which was impossible in their previous damaged state. Patience, persistence and the most wonderful detail to his task – Bob, we owe you! Such a generous contribution to making our Local Studies collection even better than ever.
