🔥 FIRE MITIGATION BURNING – CHARLEVILLE 🔥

Murweh Shire Council advises that fire mitigation burning will be undertaken along the Coolibah Access Road, Partridge Street and the River Area from Friday 24 July to Monday 27 July 2026.

Residents and motorists in the area may notice smoke and increased fire activity during the works.

People with asthma, respiratory conditions, or other health issues that may be affected by smoke are encouraged to take precautions, including staying indoors, keeping doors and windows closed, and avoiding the area where possible.

Please take care when travelling near the burn areas and be aware of smoke that may reduce visibility.

We thank the community for their understanding and cooperation while this important mitigation work is undertaken.
