📣 Online influences and young men - what adults need to know

Heard the term “manosphere” and wondering what it means for young people?

The “manosphere” refers to a network of online communities, content and influencers that promote ideas about masculinity, relationships and gender roles. While some content may appear harmless, other messages can shape harmful attitudes towards women and girls, relationships and identity, influencing the way boys and young men think, behave and connect with themselves and others.

Join The Man Cave, Australia’s leading preventative mental health charity for boys and young men, for a free, evidence-informed session for parents, carers and positive role models.

You’ll learn:
💡 Why this content appeals to some boys and young men
💡 The underlying needs that can make it appealing
💡 Practical ways to start conversations without shame or judgement
💡 How to respond if a young person is already being influenced

The Youth Art Expo 2026 is here and this year’s theme is GROWTH.

What does growth mean to you? We want to see your interpretation through painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art and more.
