The program is closely monitored and updated regularly with our instructors re-trained to ensure the teaching philosophy is carried across the entire school. Focus On Correct Technique
The SwimRight program is based on the correct teaching of all four competitive strokes providing the possibility for any student to progress through to squad and club swimming level where technique is of paramount importance. This is in contrast to many programs that measure progress by timed swims, distance achievement or time spent at particular levels – none of which are a measure of quality. Minimal Use Of Floatation Devices
We believe that floaties, rubber rings and bubble belts only serve to provide students with a false sense of security in the water. Our program aims to ensure our students are competent swimmers who can get themselves to safety if they accidently fall in the water. Consistent Method Of Teaching
All SwimRight instructors undergo regular training workshops and supervision to ensure a consistent method of instruction. This ensures that all students receive consistent instructions and technique development, regardless of which instructor or level. Our instructors are required to attend 80 per cent of set classes to ensure a level of consistency is achieved so that students are not confused by conflicting instructions and a trusting relationship is built with instructors. From infants right up to competitive squad training, SwimRight offers programs to suit all levels and interests. SwimRight does not focus on competitive swimming instead placing emphasis on fun, fitness and a positive environment that educates students. Students are told why they perform particular skills, ensuring that they understand the tasks rather than just following instructions. Limited Class Sizes
Class sizes are limited to numbers that maximizes a child's participation in the nominated level. SwimRight prides itself on a philosophy of effective swimming tuition, providing its students with personable interaction, direction and consistency.
