Chermside Aquatic Centre Chermside Pool and Water Park now runs under the operation of City Venue Management. Our 25m outdoor pool is heated to 27 degrees year round.

The centre features an indoor 32 degree programs pool perfect for your personal hydrotherapy, aqua aerobic and learn to swim needs. The Rackley learn to swim program features knowledgeable, well trained instructors who work hard to achieve the best in your children and of course most importantly a high level of water confidence and safety. Our Aqua Aerobic classes suit all age groups and are run t

wice a day during the week. We also offer swimfit classes which use a combination of aqua aerobics and lap swimming to achieve the perfect amount of fitness you are looking for without over stressing the body. Finally our premiere water park is open from the beginning of September school holidays to the end of the April school holidays. It features 2x twisty tower slides and 1x extra fast flume of doom, 2x shotgun slides, lillypad rope obstacle, mushroom and dump basket water features, mini kids slide for the little ones and a massive lagoon play area. There is plenty of shade for a rest or a picnic and more then enough tables and chairs to go around. The water park is also great for a kids birthday party (sit back and let us do all the cooking for you), corporate booking, school excursion or break up party and if your really keen book out the park and have it all to yourself. Did you know we accept both ClassPass and Fitness Passport memberships?

That means more ways for you to move, swim and stay active across our network of venues.

If you’re a ClassPass member, you can access our aquatic facilities, gym sessions, swim visits and even sauna experiences at participating locations.

Fitness Passport members are also welcome across all City Aquatics aquatic venues for swim entry, and at our City Health Club sites for full gym access via simple QR entry at reception.

Across Queensland, that’s access to 30 venues statewide, including 28 locations across South East Queensland.

Today, on International Women’s Day, we celebrate the powerful impact women have across every corner of aquatics 💜

From young girls discovering confidence through learning to swim, to female athletes chasing podiums through competitive pathways, women continue to shape the future of aquatic sport. We recognise the women who coach, mentor and inspire, the lifeguards who keep our communities safe, the teachers who build life-saving skills, and the leaders working behind the scenes to grow and innovate our industry.

At every level in the water, on pool deck and beyond, women drive inclusion, strength and progress. Today we celebrate their achievements and the waves they continue to make.

Today, Thursday 22 January at 6:01pm, we pause to remember and honour those tragically lost during the Bondi Beach attack on 14 December.

We invite all our members and visitors to observe a minute of silence with us.

Summer is flying by, stay cool and make the most of $2 Summer Dips at Brisbane City Council pools! 💙

Until 28 February 2026, general entry at all 22 Brisbane City Council pools is just $2, for adults, kids, concessions, family passes and select general-entry products. It’s the perfect way to cool off, stay active and enjoy quality time in the water before summer wraps up.

With more families visiting the pools, water safety remains essential. Council proudly supports the Royal Life Saving Society’s Keep Watch program — stay alert, supervise children closely and always keep watch around water.
