For those of us heading down Maryborough and Surrounds way, please read!

☔️FLOOD WARNING! 🚗

With wet weather increasing the risk of flooding, make sure you check the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) for the latest weather warnings and flood updates before heading out.

⚠️ Never drive through floodwater — it’s dangerous and can be deeper or faster-flowing than it appears.

✅ Check the forecast and warnings at bom.gov.au
✅ Plan your route and allow extra travel time.
✅ If conditions are unsafe, delay your trip.

If it’s flooded, forget it!

Stay safe on the roads and look out for each other. 🧡

Yesterday we said goodbye to one of our units members. After 21 years of service there was lots of friendships, call outs, time, and love. Rest easy now Col, your service is complete and we have it from here.

Today we said goodbye to a valued member of Bundaberg SES Unit Colin Kimball. His 21 years of dedicated service to the SES is very much appreciated.
Our thoughts are with his family.
