Great training tonight for some of our new members. It’s important to practice what we get called up to do. Tonight was search for an injured person in the bush🌳 (no one was injured 🤕 just training) with a successful recovery! It’s also a good refresher for our current members also.

Great multi unit training at SES Chiltern Unit tonight with 42 attending! SES Rutherglen Unit SES Beechworth Unit SES Wodonga Unit SES Wangaratta Unit and SES Yarrawonga Unit for a map, 🗺️ navigation and 4WD 🚙 exercise around our beautiful forest. 🌳These group nights are a great way to put all our training and teamwork 👏🏻into practice. We even had a visit from SES Hume Region and the FOV to showcase their skills. I know Charlie & Tracka enjoyed being in the FOV 🧡

Such a great day with ‘Crawling the Hume’. So many trucks and so many people turned out to get a closer look at these beautiful machines. We assisted in the ballet of parking so many rigs today and got such a buzz from everyone who came for a look. Well done to the organisers and all the helpers 🧡

Another great day for our community with SES Chiltern Unit Chiltern Fire Brigade and Chiltern Girl Guides collecting for the Good Friday Appeal 🐣 Thank you to our local businesses and community for always being so generous 🩷 Thank you to all our volunteers and people that just wanted to help 🙏 Thanks to the Chiltern Lions Club for the drinks, much appreciated for the thirsty collectors🧃

Our crews will be out and about today with the Chiltern Girl Guides and Chiltern Fire Brigade rattling the time for a good cause. The Good Friday Appeal is on again today and we will have some sirens going off. 😊
