I apologise for the back to back Taylor Swift posts but I was challenged to do better with the song titles so here we go.
Also smoke alarms are important...

"Dear Reader",

"The Last Time" we visited feels like a "Forever Winter" ago. We helped "Change" a battery in a smoke alarm but now we have another "Question". Are you "The 1" with the "Blank Space" on your ceiling. A space perfect for a Beep Beep machine.

We all know "All Too Well" the effects smoke can have with making "Bad Blood" which is impossible to "Shake It Off" without serious medical help.

Smoke alarms are the best early warning to get out safely. Without this early warning "Your On Your Own Kid".

Take your home safety to " New Heights " and organise a home fire safety visit from your local Fire Station. Remember, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" with fire hazards.

Exploding baubles woke a Rooty Hill family from their sleep-in at 9am yesterday morning. The occupant, Danny, said his wife took their kids outside and called Triple Zero (000) while he used a rug to put out the fire. The cause of the fire is believed to be overheated Christmas lights.

Be sure to turn your tree off each night and check the cord for any damage.

As always, have working smoking alarms in the house to avoid getting on our naughty list.

1-8 September is Adult Learner's Week, and what better way to kick it off than sharing our fire safety campaign with almost 1000 Adult Migrant Education Students from four colleges over the next four days! Min and Shawn from CEU were at St Leonard's TAFE this morning teaching the ABCs of smoke alarms. A big thank you to Keith and the crew from FRNSW 61 Lane Cove Station for putting some smiles on the faces of the students.

A working smoke alarm will give you the early warning you need to escape a house fire. 🚨🔥🚒

After a spate of fatal house fires, firefighters are pleading with their local communities to make sure there are no more deaths this winter.

Every winter, FRNSW attends 1100 house fires. Many of them are caused by unattended cooking. Installing a working smoke alarm is the single biggest action you can take to keep you and your family safe from the risk of fire.

The 2021 Census provides insight into cultural diversity, family background and languages spoken at home. One group that grew significantly was Indian people. Hinduism grew by 55.3 per cent, and more than 197,000 Australians speak Hindi at home.

Our diversity and expanding population brings many benefits, and opportunities to learn from each other.
