🏆 BIG NEWS FOR DUNGOG! 🏆

Get ready for an unforgettable night of stories, inspiration, and community spirit! We are thrilled to announce two of our guest speakers for the “It Takes a Community – Dungog” Sport Dinner Fundraiser.

Joining us at the Dungog RSL on Saturday, 13th June, are two absolute legends:

🌟 Professor Narelle Eather – A world-class expert in physical activity and sports science, Narelle is a powerhouse when it comes to youth development and the "power of play."
🏉 Robbie O’Davis – Newcastle Knights royalty! The two-time Premiership winner and Clive Churchill medalist will be sharing behind-the-scenes stories from his incredible rugby league career.

Why: To raise vital funds for our local sporting community, help with youth mental health and ensure our future stars have the support they need.

☀️🛟 Safety & Sun Smart Reminder 🛟☀️

As the weather starts to cool down, it's easy to forget about sun safety… but UV levels can still be high — even on mild or cloudy days.

Just because it's not peak summer heat doesn't mean you can't get burnt.

Our Lifeguard Team wants to remind everyone:

🧴 Apply SPF 30+ (or higher) sunscreen
🕶️ Wear a hat and sunglasses when not in the water
👕 Use rash shirts for extra protection
⏰ Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours (and after swimming)
💧 Stay hydrated

March sun can still do damage — especially during the middle of the day.

Let's finish the season safely, protect our skin, and enjoy the pool the smart way.
