One of the things that makes Tonsley Innovation District unique is seeing students, researchers and industry working side by side to shape South Australia's future.

It was wonderful to see Hilton Gumbys experience the Flinders Factory of the Future and Maritime Labs, including meeting ASC apprentices Sebastian and Jordan, who represent the next generation of skilled workers entering advanced manufacturing and defence industries.

Creating pathways between education and industry is at the heart of what happens every day at Tonsley, helping develop the talent, innovation and collaboration that will drive our state's future economy.

TAFE SA apprentice Noah has put a creative spin on a classic trade, with his decorative fireplace becoming a hit for all the right reasons. It's a great reminder that creativity and attention to detail can go hand in hand.

With TAFE SA based right here at Tonsley Innovation District, students are developing practical skills that prepare them for rewarding careers while bringing fresh ideas and innovation to traditional trades.

A warm welcome to Attard Engineering, the latest business to join the growing community at Tonsley Innovation District.

Purpose-built to support Attard Engineering's specialised manufacturing operations, the new 1,500m² facility has been thoughtfully designed to meet the company's unique production requirements, while providing the flexibility to grow into the future. Alongside the manufacturing space, the development includes two levels of adaptable office accommodation to support the business as it evolves.

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this project to life, including Mavtect Designs for the architectural design, WG Build Co. for delivering the build, and Phil Weaver & Associates for their traffic engineering expertise.
