πŸ’§Council would like to inform residents that, due to technical issues, the fluoride unit at the Cobar Water Treatment Plant has been temporarily switched off until servicing can be completed. As this work requires a specialist contractor, Council is awaiting contractor availability and expects the works to be completed by mid August.

πŸ’§This temporary interruption to fluoride dosing does not mean the water supply is untreated; drinking water treatment and routine monitoring continue as normal.

πŸ’§For more information about water fluoridation, please refer to the NSW Health fact sheet - https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/environment/water/Publications/water-fluoridation-brochure.pdf?utm_source=chatgpt.com
