🍔 Food Safety at Events - Keep It Safe This Season!

With event season coming up, it's important that all food vendors - including community groups and not-for-profits - are handling and selling food safely and hygienically.

🛡️ Food Protection & Hygiene
Keep food safe from contamination at all stages. Use clean, sanitised surfaces and potable water only.

🌡️ Temperature Control
Keep hot food hot, cold food cold, and frozen food frozen. Use a probe thermometer - don’t rely on fridge displays.

🙌 Hand Hygiene
Wash hands regularly and use utensils where possible. Gloves don’t replace handwashing.

🐾 Animals & Pests
Keep pests and animals out of food areas (assistance animals permitted in customer spaces).
