Council is continuing to look for a new name for our new Frith Street (park close to home) site. No need to vote again, but if you would like have your input please do so by 11 July.
I like yubup which is Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung language for parakeet... But what rocks your boat?

The new park is under construction - help us name it. Everyone is invited to make a suggestion. We want to hear from you.

Accessible Tram Stops rally
Let's get the state ALP Government to step up and get public transport operating for all citizens, not just the most able ones.

Rally together and join the call for accessible tram stops for Sydney Road!

The Sydney Road Accessible Tram Stops Campaign is holding a Community Rally on Saturday 22 June.

There are no accessible tram stops on Sydney Road between Brunswick and Bakers roads, meaning people who use mobility aids or who have prams depend on the Upfield train line for public transport. When the Brunswick LXRP construction begins, the line will close, leaving these members of our community stranded, so Council and the community campaign are calling for accessible tram stops to be installed.

WHAT: Sydney Road Accessible Tram Stops Community Rally
WHEN: Saturday 22 June, 11am
WHERE: Corner Wilson Ave/Sydney Road, Brunswick, (opposite Barkly Square)

Volunteers are also needed to help with letterboxing, postering, social media, street stalls and contacting supporters.

Samantha currently sits in the Upper House in Parliament, but was a Moreland Greens Councillor and the very first Greens Mayor in Moreland!
