⛈️ Storm Advice - THREAT IS REDUCED - parts of the GREAT SOUTHERN ⛈️

Please note this warning is now at a Threat is Reduced level as the Severe Weather Warning has been cancelled.
The immediate threat has reduced however you need to be aware of potential hazards that remain after the storm has passed.
❗ WHAT TO DO ❗
- Be careful of fallen trees, damaged buildings and debris.
- Stay away from fallen powerlines, they are dangerous and should always be treated as live.
- Look around your home, car and property for damage.
- If damage has occurred and you are insured, contact your insurance company and take photos.
- If your home has significant damage, like a badly damaged roof or flooding, call the SES for assistance with temporary repairs on 132 500.
- If you do not have a plan, make one now on Emergency WA emergency.wa.gov.au/plan or in the Emergency WA app to stay safe in future emergencies.
- Never walk, drive, ride, swim or play in flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways as they are dangerous.
🌧️ STORM DETAILS 🌧️
At 8:11am on Monday 15 June 2026 the Bureau of Meteorology advised the risk of heavy rainfall has eased in the South East Coastal this morning.
A cold front is crossing southern parts of the state in a moist airmass this morning, bringing heavy showers and occasional thunderstorms.
This warning is now cancelled.
24.6 mm was recorded at Jerdacuttup in the 1 hour to 6:26 am.

Roads have not been closed.
