Hi everyone
Sadly we have made the difficult decision not to run Southern play in 2025. As we have talked and planned the year, we have realised we don't have the capacity to run a safe, enjoyable and fun playgroup to the same standard this year.
We've loved the opportunities this playgroup has given to build community and will miss seeing you all! Some of the families in the group are keen to catch up semi regularly on a Friday morning, so if that's something you'd be keen on, comment below.

This Friday 19th July Southern Playgroup will be starting up again for Term 3 and we are so excited to see all of you again and welcome many new families!!

Southern Play runs on a Friday morning 9:30am-11:30am at Cockburn Arc in the Bandicoots Play Centre.

Southern Play is a playgroup run by Southern Christian Church so I thought I would share some information about our Church for anyone who might be interested to join us on a Sunday morning.

We started meeting in Atwell in July 2018 and moved to the Cockburn Youth Centre in August 2021. We are a mix of old friends and new who love to include new friends in our circles. We come from all around the southern suburbs of Perth and the Cockburn area including Atwell, Aubin Grove, Beeliar, Success, Hammond Park, Treeby, Yangebup, Leeming, Piara Waters, Wandi, Wellard and Parmelia.

The best place to find out about Jesus is from God himself in his word, the Bible. So expect us to love talking about it!

Whether you’re a follower of Jesus, or just curious to know more, we encourage you to visit us and let us join you on your journey wherever you’re at.

Southern Christian Church meets at the Cockburn Youth Centre. Parking can be accessed from Wentworth Parade or from the entrance near McDonalds.Look out for the blue signs to direct you.

Another hot week in Perth!! If you're looking to get the kids out of the house but also want to stay cool, why not come along to playgroup this Friday at the Bandicoots Playcentre in The ARC where the kids can stay cool and have fun on the indoor play equipment. Grab a coffee or cold drink at the Cafe and meet us at bandicoots at 9:30am

It was so lovely to see everyone on Friday at our first playgroup session for 2024! Looking forward to seeing everyone again this week same time and place.

A little sneak peak into what we do on a Friday morning at Southern Play.

We like playgroup to be a relaxed and safe place for you to bring the kids to burn some energy while you chat with other mamas and sip a coffee but we also like to have some structured tasks throughout the morning.

For new families we offer a one week free trial if you would like to come and say hi and see what we are all about. We would love to meet you!
