The 2026 Regional Exercise is underway this weekend and 6 of our Support Brigade members have travelled up to train, be trained and feed over 300 fire fighters from Northern NSW and some Queenslanders.

What's the most important prerequisite when you go to Emergency Warning on deployment? Training.

Coffs Coast Support Brigade proudly announces - we have an Olympian in our team!

James Robertson, who is currently our Social Secretary has been slogging (literally!) behind the scenes. He has won the Special Olympic - North Coast division (that's the blue medal he is holding) and before that won the Special Olympics Golf Classic at the Gold Coast (the gold and white medal pictured below). Congratulations James. All that hard work has finally paid off.

James is a regular in our Comms Team and Catering Crew, when he isn't on the green, of course. [sic] (pun?). Thank you for all your effort and hard work, James.

Coffs Support provided Catering for the Commissioner's visit BBQ lunch. It seems by the happy diners, another successful lunch. Our Fire Control Centre staff lend a hand when we need them. Thank you! We are always after more volunteers to help for events like these and feeding our firefighters while they train and prepare for the bushfire season.
