FloodFree barriers continue to protect townships across Victoria..

📣Following advice from North Central Catchment Authority and Bureau of Meterology, the temporary flood barrier at Camp Street will remain in place until early next week as a precautionary measure.

Recent flooding has left Camp Street saturated and keeping the barrier in place will help minimise the risk of damage to the sealed road surface while conditions continue to dry out.

It will also enable Council to respond quickly should the river rise again with further rainfall expected this week.

The side access panel will remain open to allow pedestrian traffic through the area.

Council will continue to monitor conditions and work with relevant agencies to support community safety.

Please continue to obey all road closure signage and avoid the area where possible.

An automated undershot gate assembly was supplied for the Sydney International Regatta Centre, replacing ageing manual infrastructure with a modern flood control solution designed for performance and safety.
