A busy day at the Museum today preparing our Lucky Door and some of our Raffle prizes for our “Pink Bloom Party “ fundraiser for Breast Cancer Research at the Comboyne Museum .
This Wednesday the 9th 10.00am till 1.00 pm .
A Gift Pamper pack will be given for any donations of 10.00 or more towards Breast Cancer Research .

Our Pink Bloom Party plans are going gangbusters with so many wonderful donations coming in for our Lucky Door and Raffle Prizes .

Another reunion today at the Comboyne Museum with a wonderful donation being made by Angela and Rob.Massingham of some historic photographs of Amos / Gardner family members .
Which will be on display in the Museum homestead in the future.

Eileen ,Colin & Lyn’s mother ( Gladys Amos nee Gardner ) was a sister to Angela’s grandmother .
( Ethel Passfield née Gardner .)

The Gardner girls grew up at “ Springs Delight “ , Ducks Ridge until they married , Gladys staying on Comboyne and Ethel eventually moving to Woodenburg , Northern New South Wales .

NEWS FLASH
The next Social Mornings on Comboyne Date has been changed from the Wednesday 2nd of September to the Wednesday 9th September.
On that date we are holding a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Research and are looking for support from our local community and beyond to raise as much as possible for this cause which has touched families everywhere.
All monies raised will go directly to help fund on going Breast Cancer Trials .
So raid your wardrobes , visit the op shops , wear something Pink and come to our Pink Bloom Party .
Lucky Door Prizes , Raffles and a selection of Comboyne cakes and slices like only we can offer.
N.B Extended event time 10.00am till 1.00pm .

The local Scarecrow Makers at their workshop held at the Museum markets on Sunday .
It was surprisingly quick and easy for them to put it together.
