The Cooktown History Centre will be closed tomorrow May 4th as it's a public holiday for May Day! Reopening on Tues 5th!

The Cooktown History Centre is a volunteer run "not for profit"local organisation, which means we are alway on the lookout for people with some time to spare.🤩
We are hosting a Volunteers Recruitment Morning Tea on April 28th at 10.00 am to welcome new people and for current members to reconnect!🍰☕️
You don't have to have a background in history as our volunteers do everything from research, 'meet and greet", data entry and office works.
