STAY VIGILANT Flood warning remains with more rain to come ๐ง๏ธ
The Bureau of Meteorology is warning rainfall of 10-50mm is expected across the Sunshine Coast in the next 24 hours. โ
Waterways are already swollen, which increases the possibility of river levels rising rapidly, and flash flooding. ๐

Highest rainfall levels in the last 24 hours (as of 4.30pm) are:
133mm at Doonan, 129mm at Peregian Springs, 125mm for Maleny, 123mm at Maroochydore, Buderim and Yandina Creek, and 117mm at Mountain Creek.
- Do not drive unless you have to as conditions are dangerous.
- Even in shallow floodwater, your carโs steering, engine and electrics can fail.
- Do not enter floodwater. You donโt know what dangers it may contain.
- Flash flooding can happen anywhere, anytime and there may be no โroad closedโ sign.
- Sunshine Coast will remain a minor flood watch area from Monday evening and into Tuesday.
