Great to have one of our own from this region leading the Liberals.

Congratulations, Angus Taylor MP and Senator Jane Hume on being elected the new leader and deputy leader of the Liberal Party.

Now is the time to draw a clear line in the sand — to stop being Labor-lite and present a genuine alternative: restoring affordable energy, backing small business, strengthening our economy and getting migration under control. The Australian people deserve a confident, disciplined Liberal Party prepared to lead.

ICYMI 🐴🐎🐴

The horse stalls at Cooma Showground need upgrading and an elected Liberal government has committed to investing $65,000 to raise the roof height on all the older stalls to make sure we keep our 4 legged friends and their riders safe!

These stalls are used by a number of local equestrian groups and were a safe haven for horses during the 2019/2020 bushfires.

Thankyou Rob Hain and Danielle Mackay and everyone involved with Cooma Show and Monaro Equestrian Association for your support in advocating for this important upgrades!!

JINDABYNE COMMUNITY GARDEN TO GROW 🧄🌽🥕

It was fantastic to catch up again with Margaret Chalk, Co-ordinator of the Jindabyne Community Garden to announce that an elected Liberal Government will invest $165,000 to provide important upgrades and additions to the much-loved community garden.

New pathways for prams, walkers and wheelchairs, sun protection and a solar powered demountable kitchen and meeting room will make the space more accessible, all-weather friendly and accommodate the growing demand for school groups, parents with young kids and locals of all ages to connect over a cuppa and the garden.

Thanks to Deputy Mayor Tricia Hopkins and Councillor Nick Elliott for attending and to Olivier Kapetanakos President of Jindabyne Chamber of Commerce for his support of this fantastic project!

FEMALE CHANGEROOMS FOR COOMA UNITED RUGBY LEAGUE FOOTBALL CLUB 💙

Cooma United RLFC have tried for the past 5 years to get funding, so I was super pleased to be able to announce today that a Liberal Dutton Government will invest $500,000 to construct female only changerooms at Cooma Showground, home of the Fillies, Stallions and Colts.

Investing in local infrastructure that improves female participation in sport is important and I want to congratulate Todd, Creedence, Col and all the parents and players at Cooma United RLFC's for their support in fighting to get this funding commitment - and for giving me a run around the paddock 😁
