Looking for a Roster Clerk to support our team in either Cooma or Bombala.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Roster Clerk to join our team at Cooma Challenge Limited. This full-time position will be responsible for managing and coordinating staff rosters to ensure that our clients receive the best possible care and support. As a key member of our operations team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient scheduling of staff across a range of NDIS and Aged Care services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly rosters for all direct care staff.
- Ensure that rosters meet the needs of clients while adhering to staff availability and qualifications.
- Monitor staff attendance and ensure shifts are appropriately covered.
- Liaise with care staff and managers to address any rostering issues or changes.
- Maintain accurate records of shifts, leave requests, and overtime.
- Ensure compliance with relevant NDIS and Aged Care guidelines, regulations, and standards.
- Provide administrative support to the care team and management.
- Assist in the training and onboarding of new staff regarding rostering systems and processes.

Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in rostering or scheduling, preferably in the NDIS or Aged Care sector.

About the role:

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the CEO and the Executive Team you will lead and manage the Finance Team to deliver high-quality financial services for CCL to deliver effective, efficient and successful service delivery to our NDIS and Aged care people.

This is a key role within the organisation, with a focus on providing leadership, guidance and support to Operational arm, Executive Team and the CCL Board. A commitment to the development and growth of staff in the Finance Team is critical. The role would suit someone who also has an aptitude for, and is motivated to, developing and improving systems and processes, along with implementing practical and effective solutions.

You will also be contributing to the development of the strategic plan, business plans and associated financial budgets.

Active involvement in the ongoing development and management of the organisation’s Quality systems, along with ensuring programs and services are compliant with standards, regulatory requirements and funding frameworks is also a responsibility.

Considerable experience in the disability, aged care or health industries, ideally in a Finance or Business role.
Tertiary qualifications in a Finance and/or Business and (ideally) qualifications in management/leadership.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong relationship-building skills to engage with a range of individuals including government representatives, clients and their families, staff and other stakeholders.
