This week we celebrated International Owl Awareness Day, making it the perfect time to shine a light on our incredible owl ambassadors.

Did you know one of the biggest threats facing owls is secondary poisoning from rodent baits? When owls prey on rats and mice that have consumed these poisons, the toxins can accumulate in their bodies, often with devastating consequences.

By choosing wildlife-friendly alternatives to rodenticides, we can all help protect these remarkable nocturnal hunters and the important role they play in our ecosystems.

Often misunderstood, snakes play an important role in healthy ecosystems. As natural rodent controllers, they help keep populations of rats and mice in check, benefiting both wildlife and people.

Through Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation and our partnership with WildCats Conservation Alliance, we’re supporting conservation efforts that protect wild tigers and conserve vital habitats.
