🎉 COONA DROP-IN IS NOW OPEN TWICE A WEEK!
There's now even more opportunities to come along, hang out with friends and have fun after school!

Coona Drop-In is now open every Tuesday and Thursday during school terms, providing a safe, supervised and welcoming space for young people aged 11 years and over.

Whether you're shooting hoops, playing pool or table tennis, getting creative with arts and crafts, or simply relaxing with friends, there's something for everyone. Plus, afternoon tea is provided!

The Coonabarabran Youth Drop-In program continues to grow, with 27 young people taking part since relaunching in May and an average of 12 participants attending each week.

Thanks to the strong response from local young people, the program will expand from Term 3, with sessions running every Tuesday and Thursday from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm at the Sport & Recreation Centre near the skate park.

The program provides a safe and welcoming space where young people can connect with friends, enjoy a meal and take part in activities including basketball, ping pong, pool, craft projects, games and more.

Participants have also been busy creating entries for the Youth Drop-In logo design competition, with voting taking place at the final session before the school holidays.

COONA DROP-IN: THE PLACE TO BE FOR LOCAL YOUTH 🏀
This week, young people enjoyed a fun afternoon of geometric painting, toasted sandwiches, pool, table tennis, indoor basketball, card games and more at the Coonabarabran Sport and Recreation Centre.

The Coona Drop-In is a Warrumbungle Shire Council program delivered through Community and Youth Services, providing a safe and welcoming space for young people aged 11 years and over to connect, socialise and have fun.

The Dunedoo Service Day is bringing a range of essential support services together in one convenient location to make accessing help easier for the local community.

🌿 MENOPAUSE INFORMATION NIGHT – BARADINE
Warrumbungle Women’s Collective presents a Menopause Information Night focused on women’s health before, during and after menopause.

This free event is open to women of all ages and will provide practical information, reassurance and a supportive space for conversation.

Special guests from NSW Health, including a Menopause Specialist, will share expert insights and answer questions in an affirming and welcoming environment.
