🌱 500+ Native Plants Planted Across Leeman & Green Head! 🌿

On Tuesday 1 September, volunteers from the, Green Head Coast Care Group and Yued Aboriginal Corporation came together for a fantastic native planting day across Leeman, Green Head and the areas in between.

Together, more than 500 native plants were planted, including:

🌿 One-sided Bottlebrush
🌿 Eremaea Pauciflora
🌿 Drummond’s Gum
🌿 Northern Sandplain Mallee

A huge thank you to Yued Aboriginal Corporation for supplying the native seedlings and the Green Head Coast Care Group for providing the eco-friendly plant protective surrounds.

It was wonderful to see these groups working together to care for and enhance our local environment. 💚

Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and helped make the planting day a success! 🌱
