🌱💧 Learning Comes to Life at Cooroy State School! 💧🌱

Today, students from 1C and 3/4D proudly shared their amazing dioramas with one another. The 1C students showcased their vegetable garden creations, while 3/4D presented their detailed models of the water cycle.

These hands-on projects supported students to deepen their scientific understanding while developing their creativity, problem-solving, and design skills through Design Technologies. Most importantly, they provided a wonderful opportunity for students to share their learning, explain their thinking, and celebrate their achievements with others.

We love seeing our learners collaborate, create, and confidently share their knowledge at Cooroy State School! 🌟👏

These legends from 2H have earned an incredible 80 Possum Tokens and enjoyed a special lunch with Mrs McPherson! 🌟

What a fantastic achievement! As part of their reward, they also got to choose a prize from the Principal’s Prize Box. 🎁

We always have so much fun during our visits, celebrating students who consistently demonstrate our school values and make positive choices every day. Congratulations, superstars – keep up the amazing work! 🐾👏

☃️The countdown for Book Fair is on! ❄️

Monday 8th June - Thursday 11th June (closed after 1st break Thurs)
Wish lists will head home Monday and Tuesday.

Book Fair will be open for purchases Tuesday Afterschool.
Families are welcome to head in before and after school.
Students will have lunch break available to purchase.

We close our doors after 1st Break Thursday the 11th.

Super proud of 3/4D achieving 4 days of 100% attendance! What an outstanding effort and commitment to making every day count.

Students have been busy constructing their Water Cycle Dioramas and the creativity, teamwork and scientific understanding on display has been incredible. We love seeing our students so engaged in their learning and proudly showcasing their work. Well done 3/4D! 🌧️☀️💧

Talking to students about their work and having them share their learning is the best part of Mrs McPherson’s day.

Today, Zephie from 2V proudly shared her information report writing. What outstanding work and a wonderful understanding of exactly what was needed for the task. Well done, Zephie!
