In August 2026, Cooroy Memorial Hall turns 100 - and that’s not just a birthday for a building. It’s a milestone for the generations who’ve met, danced, fundraised, debated, performed, celebrated and supported one another within its walls. Mark your diaries and come and celebrate with us!

Spotted: a fallen crown from the Op Shop Ball at Cooroy Memorial Hall (late 80's ) Fundraiser for the Cooroy Primary School P&C - everyone's outfit had to come from the op shops. The hall has hosted fundraisers for 100 years .... and this one was one to remember a night of fun, community spirit. 🎉🍻

In August 2026, Cooroy Memorial Hall celebrates 100 years—marking not just a building, but generations of community life. From dances and fundraisers to weddings and local events, the hall has helped shape Cooroy into the town it is today.
The milestone also recognises the volunteers, committee members, Noosa Council, Bendigo Bank and sponsors who supported its 2018 rebuild, ensuring it remains a welcoming space for years to come.
A weekend of celebrations is planned: a historical exhibition on Friday 21 August, a street party on Saturday 22 August, and “Back to Cooroy Day” on Sunday 23 August.
Residents are invited to share photos and memories to help celebrate this special occasion.
