To our valued clients,
South West Fire & Security have been servicing our region for over 14 year. During this time we have met, and had the privilege of working with, some amazing people. Your loyalty during this time has been humbling and appreciated.

Like many small businesses in our area, we have continued to grow and thrive, with the support of our community. We have grown to a point where we need to make change and secure additional resources to better service our clients, and ensure fire protection compliance is always achieved.

So, we have some exciting news. As of 1st April 2022 , we will be joining forces with Central Fire & Electrical. This will provide us with the added resources of onsite labour and office administration so that we can focus on providing the highest level of service. Like us, Central Fire & Electrical are a small family owned business, based in Bathurst and with a regional office in Wagga Wagga.

What’s Changing?
- Our branding and vendor details (banking details etc) will be changed to Central Fire & Electrical as of 1st April 2022
- We will have additional technicians on the road, servicing our clients
- You will hear from our office staff every now and then, booking in routine service, and making sure we are meeting and exceeding your expectations.

What isn’t Changing”
- I will continue to be part of the team; you will still see me out servicing and for the foreseeable future I will continue to call and arrange servicing etc.
- We are still a family-owned team, with family values. We remain community focused and will continue to support local causes and sports teams where we can.

It is our deepest regret to confirm that two SA Country Fire Service members were involved in an incident at the Coles fire, involving a falling tree. This incident resulted in one fatality and one serious injury. Family and other personnel have been informed and are being offered support at this time. The seriously injured CFS member has been taken to hospital for further treatment.

The safety and wellbeing of our people is our highest priority and our thoughts are with our CFS family at this time.

We are a privately owned, Family Orientated Fire Protection Company committed to providing our customers with a high level of quality and professional service looking to expand our rapidly growing company.
We are seeking a multi skilled technician who is a people person, has great time management and can work autonomously or in a team.
The successful candidate will be required to perform periodic routine inspections and testing of Fire Indicator Panels, EWIS/OWIS, HVAC, Portable fire equipment, fire hydrants, fire hose reels, fire and smoke doors, emergency and exit lighting, paths of egress and exit doors, Test, Fault Finding, Service & Programming skills with a variety of systems. Some Install work will be required in accordance with AS1851, within Cootamundra and surrounding areas and Southern NSW ). Candidates will be experienced (Min 2 years), motivated and be able to deliver an exceptional customer service experience to drive success that improves client satisfaction maximizing customer retention.
Proven ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
Work across high profile service contracts
Programming experience is desirable but not essential
NSW Electrical License and Current Open Cabling Licence preferred but not essential
We are also looking to expand our Security side of the business with Installations, Commission Alarm, Service, Maintain Fault analysis and rectification of Alarm, Access Control, and IP CCTV solutions would be desirable but not essential.
Wages to be negotiated dependent on experience and qualifications. Competitive hourly rate in line with skills and experience. Monthly RDOs (Overtime available) Future promotion and business opportunity will be available for the right person
