The Copacabana Rural Fire Brigade has been serving the community of Copacabana and surrounding areas for a remarkable 60 years. Its strategic location opposite the Surf Life Saving Club and beach makes it easily accessible for quick response times to emergency situations. The brigade takes pride in providing a high standard of service not only to Copacabana but also to neighbouring communities. Their duty involves responding to various emergencies, including bushfires, structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, vehicle fires, floods, and storm damage. They are also actively involved in assisting other emergency services such as Fire and Rescue NSW, Ambulance NSW, and NSW Police. Every year, the Copacabana Rural Fire Brigade attends many emergency situations, dealing with them promptly and effectively. Their commitment to public safety is unwavering, and their actions have undoubtedly saved many lives and properties over the years.
