The Hullabloo will launch into Christmas festivities that the entire family & community can enjoy! Stretching throughout the heart of Cottesloe the event will deliver an exciting range of attractions and street activations. Kids and teenagers can enjoy a variety of

outdoor fun such as a petting zoo, face painting, Santa & so much more! For the adults you can relish in the free entertainment, live music performances, and the wonderful array of local restaurants & bars. The past events have gained an imposing reputation attracting visitors of all ages, the last event seeing an outstanding attendance of local and surrounding community for a fun filled party, and after a short hiatus this Christmas Celebration will be no different! Cottesloe Village association ProCott, with esteemed support from the Town of Cottesloe along with our key sponsors, Western Suburbs Weekly, & the businesses of Cottesloe Village – are delighted to announce the Cottesloe Village Christmas Party.

The event creative has been commissioned by talented local artist Sara Winfield. This original piece of acrylic and Gouache on paper captures the festivities of our local community with store owners welcoming visitors into stores and cafes with pasta making and alfresco eateries set amongst the green surroundings of Cottesloe. The famous Cottesloe pylon in the Indian Ocean gives perspective to the location of this vibrant business precinct.⁠

The artwork will be made available for public viewing from Wednesday 16th November in various locations in Cottesloe.⁠

Australian artist Sara Winfield creates abstract paintings of swirled, scraped and scratched marks of colour. The work is a carefully balanced act between psychedelically toned pigment and restrained negative space. The large scale paintings and intimate paper drawings are a curious adventure into perceptible sensory engagement, exploring the meeting point where emotion and colour intersect. ⁠

Sara began her career creating coveted art for children’s rooms, working predominantly in kid’s interior spaces. After years of tumbling through the pastel world she had created for herself, she found her way to abstraction and landscape painting. Forever amazed and intrigued by colour, Sara’s abstract work is an honest and raw exploration into her emotions and experiences, both past and present.⁠

Time to celebrate the festive season with Cottesloe Village as we celebrate the well-loved Hullabaloo for 2022. Local retailers and eateries will open their doors alongside market stalls that will line the streets. Kids entertainment and live music will fill Napoleon and Railway streets with festive joy!

This year's Hullabaloo will host an amazing array of free entertainment and activities for the entire family. Entertainment is located at both ends of Napoleon St, but be sure. to look out. for some special roving guests and artists.
Along side our amazing retailers there will be a selection of local artisans. Perfect timing for some Christmas shopping or at least put your orders in.
