Cowwarr Public Hall The hall is both important as a historic landmark and as a venue for a variety of community events. this is the task at the moment.

Cowwarr Public Hall was built in 1930 out of reinforced concrete covered in staco at a cost of £3000 by Mr McAlpine a builder that specialised in this sort of construction in Australia at the time. The building is on crown land and is under control of DELWP and a local Community Management Committee. Although it looks great from the outside it requires more work to bring the internals up to a better standard.

Public Notice for the Triennial General Meeting (TGM) of the Cowwarr Recreation Reserve Committee of Management.
The current Cowwarr Rec Reserve Committee extend an invitation to all members of the Cowwarr community and especially those how are willing to take an active role on the committee to attend the TGM. Your presence and contributions are greatly valued as we look forward to shaping the future of our recreation reserve together.

Meeting Details
• Dates: Tuesday March 25, 2025
• Time: 7pm – 8pm
• Location: Cowwarr Football/Netball Clubrooms (2 Pine Grove Avenue, Cowwarr VIC 3857)
• The Purpose: is to nominate no less than three (3) or more than nine (9) persons as the Committee of Management for the Cowwarr Recreation Reserve for a term of three years. The current committee’s term will expire on 12th April 2025. All positions will be declared open, and nominations will be accepted prior to or on the night.
• Reports to be presented: Chair, Treasure/Secretary, Financial

How magnificent does the old girl look! The Cowwarr Hall styled beautifully for the Cowwarr Football/Netball Club Red, White & Black Ball. The Hall is now fit for purpose to celebrate community events. Thanks to the club for choosing to use our great community facility and doing such a great job.
