Last week, a number of our members were awarded the NSW Premier's Flood Emergency Citation in recognition of their service and dedication during the 2022–2023 flood operations.

While not all members were able to attend the ceremony, we would like to congratulate all recipients on this well-deserved recognition. Congratulations 👏🧡

We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident off Ballina Bar overnight.
Not only for the loss of life from Marine Rescue NSW volunteers, but also the loss of life from the vessel they were responding to.
This is a reminder of what emergency services can face every time they answer a call for help, frequently in the most challenging and dangerous conditions.
We extend our sincere condolences to the families, friends and members of Marine Rescue NSW, as well as all those affected by this tragedy.
Our thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.💙💙
