Working closely with other agencies we respond to a range of emergencies including structure fires, motor vehicle accidents and storms within our rural fire district.

The Bush Fire Danger Period (BFDP) commences on 01 September 2026 across the Far North Coast.
Fire permits are required during the BFDP and can be obtained for free by applying online at www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/notify or phoning 1300 632 174.
