The countdown is on!
Not long to go now... Our Currumbin Valley State School P&C Big Community Raffle will be drawn on Sunday 23rd August at 2.30pm, and there's still time to be part of it!

📚 Book Week Parade – Save the Date! 📚
Our annual Book Week Parade will be held on Thursday, 27 August, commencing at 9:15 am.
Students are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite book character. Prizes will be on offer for participating students.
We can't wait to see everyone's creativity and celebrate the wonderful world of books together.
This year's theme is 'Symphony of Stories'.

The Grand Finale will take place on Wednesday, 19 August, at 1:00 pm on the Earth Stage. Parents are warmly invited to come along and cheer on our CVSS superstars!

Thank you to all the parents and community members who contributed to making today’s NAIDOC celebration at Currumbin Valley State School such a meaningful event.
We’d like to extend a special thank you to Kate and Miriam for not only sharing the beautifully prepared dishes, made with native Australian ingredients, but also for giving up their time to share knowledge about these ingredients and their cultural significance with our students. Your contributions enriched the children’s understanding and appreciation of Indigenous cultures and their connection to country, and we are so grateful.
A huge thank you also to:
🌿 Shayna (Willow and Poppy’s Mum) for providing the Quandong and Lemon Myrtle Focaccia.
🌿 Miriam (Camille’s Mum) for providing the Banana, Bunya, Macadamia Loaf and the Apple, Bunya, Macadamia Tea Cake.

Let's get behind the Socceroos this Friday. Parents are welcome to join their children while we watch Australia vs Paraguay at the World Cup. The game starts at 12.00pm. Children are welcome to dress in green and gold.
