The Currumbin Valley Rural Fire Brigade is providing information on Bush Fire Preparedness. We are also giving away to the first 50 local residents Blue Reflectors to identify static water supplies on their properties that can be used if needed for fire suppression.

Bush Fire water supplies. Blue Reflectors.
To enable the fire brigade to quickly locate water supplies on your property install blue reflectors next to the water source.
If you have a water tank it is suggested that you have a 50mm male camlock fitting and ball valve on the tank outlet so the fire brigade can easily couple to the water supply. We need to get the fire trucks to within 6m of your water tank to hook up
