Dandenong CFA

Dandenong CFA To protect life and property. Dandenong Fire Brigade was officially registered as the 80th Country Fire Brigade in 1894.

While initially a volunteer only brigade, over time Dandenong CFA has expanded to include career fire fighters and operational support personal. Members come from all walks of life, including truck drivers, engineers, tradesmen, and students. The brigade responds to approximately 2,000 calls every year. These include motor vehicle accidents, wildfires, structure fires, alarms, chemical spills and

gas leaks. Dandenong CFA is also actively involved in the community, providing education on fire prevention and safety procedures. Many volunteers report that serving as a fire fighter is an honour, providing opportunities to develop valuable skills. The knowledgeable career fire fighters and staff provide volunteers with significant support. New volunteers are always welcome and are provided with appropriate training and protective equipment. For those not interested in operational fire fighting, other roles in areas such as fundraising and/or community education are also available.

We will be at Bunnings Keysborough cooking up a storm tomorrow, with all proceeds going to areas affected by the recent fires!

Hey Ed Sheeran, we saw you wearing your traditional Australian headgear last Sunday! (Bunnings straw hat)
I've been 'thinking out loud', it would go 'Perfect' with some traditional Australian Tucker! (Bunnings Sausage)
We'd be honoured to take a 'Photograph' with you if you dropped in!

Big thankyou to Bunnings for providing community groups the opportunity to raise funds for worthy causes!

Dandenong Support was paged as well providing REHAB services. A huge challenge to our crews operated under 42 degree heat while ensuring all hard-working tanker crews stay hydrated and proper rest. Well done all!
