The old greyhound racing kennel block has officially been given an exciting new lease on life ✨

We’re thrilled to welcome McKinnons Dogwash & Grooming, with their official opening on 3rd July! 👏 🐶

Mel and James have been working hard behind the scenes to create a welcoming new space offering dog grooming, daycare and boarding for your beloved family members 🛁🦴

We can’t wait to see plenty of happy tails at The Groundz! 🐾

The NSW State Junior Championship 2026 was held at the Groundz on the weekend! 🐓

Such a beautiful display of quality birds and an incredible showcase of the passion and dedication of some amazing juniors! 🙌🐔

A significant milestone for The Groundz 👏

Dapto Agricultural & Horticultural Society Ltd is now officially registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not for profits Commission (ACNC).

As we continue transitioning beyond greyhound racing, this recognition reinforces the Society’s commitment to community, partnerships and the ongoing evolution of The Groundz precinct.

This is only the beginning. The more support the precinct receives from the local community, the more we can continue reinvesting back into the site and delivering new experiences, activations and opportunities for the Illawarra.

Exciting times ahead 🙌✨
