History Throwback 🏁

In 1991, Dapto hosted the world’s richest greyhound race, with an incredible $100,000 first prize — the biggest prize money in greyhound racing anywhere in the world at the time! 😱

The race cemented Dapto’s place on the international stage and showcased the vision and innovation of the Society. Long before it was common to think big, Dapto Dogs was setting new benchmarks and attracting attention from across the globe! ⭐️

A moment in our history and a reminder that innovation has always been part of who we are, and we will continue with that mindset as we now transition away from greyhound racing 🏆🐾

The old greyhound racing kennel block has officially been given an exciting new lease on life ✨

We’re thrilled to welcome McKinnons Dogwash & Grooming, with their official opening on 3rd July! 👏 🐶

Mel and James have been working hard behind the scenes to create a welcoming new space offering dog grooming, daycare and boarding for your beloved family members 🛁🦴

We can’t wait to see plenty of happy tails at The Groundz! 🐾
