As the warmer months come to an end, we’d like to thank the community for another fantastic season at Darlington Pool.

Before we close, there’s still time to enjoy a final swim, so come down, soak up the sunshine, and help us send off the season in style.

CHANGED POOL HOURS THIS WEEKEND

Our Darlington Point and Coleambally swimming pools have temporary opening hours this weekend:

- Darlington Point Swimming Pool
Saturday 28 February 2026 - 2 pm to 7 pm
Sunday 1 March 2026 - 9 am to 1 pm

- Coleambally Swimming Pool
Saturday 28 February 2026 - 9 am to 1 pm (Aquafit Class available)
Sunday 1 March 2026 - 2 pm to 7 pm

Apologies for any inconvenience and thanks for your understanding over the weekend.

Opening hours will resume as advertised on Monday 2 March.

We are pleased to welcome the community to the Darlington Point Swimming from 3pm-7pm today. We hope this assists the community to manage the warm weather today ☀️

Adapted opening hours will be applied from Wednesday 25 February. We look forward to seeing the community at the pool soon

COMMUNITY UPDATE

Monday 23 February 2026, 4:30 pm

It's a pleasure to advise that the team from LeisureSafe will be managing the Darlington Point War Memorial Swimming Pool from Tuesday 24 February for the remainder of the season.

We welcome the team from LeisureSafe who will be starting on Tuesday.

The new pool hours will be:
- Wednesday to Friday from 8 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 7 pm
- Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 6 pm

Thank you to Ashlee Bellato for managing the pool for the last 2 weeks.

TEMPORARY POOL CLOSURE

Effective from the close of business on Sunday 22 February 2026

The Darlington Point Swimming Pool will be closed from Sunday as Ashlee finishes up her time at the facility and transitions to managing the Coleambally Swimming Pool for the remainder of the season.

We sincerely thank Ashlee for stepping in and supporting the pool. Her efforts have been greatly appreciated by staff and the community alike.

We will provide further updates soon regarding reopening arrangements and future management of the Darlington Point Swimming Pool. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition.

In the meantime, Coleambally and Jerilderie Swimming Pools are both open, as is the Darlington Point Splash Park.

COMMUNITY UPDATE

Wednesday 4 February 2026, 11:20 am

We wish to advise that the management of Darlington Point War Memorial Swimming Pool is changing hands, with Ashlee Bellato stepping into the role temporarily from Sunday 8 February until Thursday 19 February 2026.

During this period, there will be a temporary change to operating hours from 9 am to 7 pm on Tuesday to Sunday.

We would like to acknowledge and thank Rebecca Norris for her 9 years of service managing the pool. Her contribution to the facility and the community over that time is appreciated, and we wish her all the best for the future.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from anyone interested in managing the pool. For more information, please contact Jordan Rothwell on 1300 676 243.
