Darwin Street Art Festival

Darwin Street Art Festival The Darwin Street Art Festival will return 22 May - 5 June 2026 - explore the art year round!

Darwin Street Art Festival is a mural festival that has been running every year since 2017 in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. Be sure to like this page for all further line-up and festival news and info. The Darwin Street Art Festival is made possible through support of the Northern Territory Government. A big thank you also to the building owners and local business who share our vision and passion for the City, as it’s through their involvement that the murals will come to life.

Last week we launched our exhibition coffee table book ‘MARKED’ to close out the tenth edition of the DSAF.

We had James Mangohig on the decks, artists were signing books for people - and by chance we even found the owner of the car in our iconic exhibition / cover photo by Migs Ellaga - so he came and parked it for the book launch 🤣 We love Darwin ❤️‍🔥

We wouldn’t be here without the support of the community - so if you’ve loved the murals over the past 10 years, you’re really going to love what you see at our Northern Centre for Contemporary Art exhibition and in the ‘Marked’ book.
You can still get yourself one from NCCA while stocks last!

The team from Kellaborate laid this whole book out in TWO DAYS and ZipPrint Darwin NT had it hot off the press for us right when we needed it. Big love! 🫶

“Mother Nature is a piece that tells a story of strength and ferocity but also of care and nurturing. It aims to have the audience consider their relationship with nature.”

Shona painted these blue-winged kookaburras sitting in a Bloodwood gum tree, both of which are native - you can sometimes see the kookaburras in the area at sunset 👀🌇

So proud to have begun this partnership with Charles Darwin University and the CDU First Nations Training and Teacher Education Hub as part of the 2026 festival!

We couldn’t be more thankful for the way the team have embraced our artists and the art - it’s been so meaningful for us. We absolutely can’t wait to share all the finished pics with you!
