Take a walk through the historic Gardens and experience rainforest, mangroves and open woodlands. Gardens open every day 7am to 7pm.

Highlights include the waterfall, the playground with its tree house, the cafe as well as the self-guided multimedia tree walk. Orientation Centre 8am to 4pm

Have you spotted this amazing ‘architect’ in the Gardens?

The St Andrew's Cross spider is famous for weaving a distinctive white "X" into the centre of its web. This special silk pattern may help attract insects and confuse predators, making it one of nature's clever survival strategies.
Keep an eye out for these fascinating spiders on your next stroll through the Gardens!

This one is located outside the administration building – Geranium Street entry.

📢 Visitor information centre early closure notice 📢

As part of the exciting Darwin Festival program, Pencelupan – Immersion , the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre will close early at 3:00pm on the following dates:

📅 Wednesday 19 August – Sunday 23 August

Thank you for your understanding as we support this fantastic arts and cultural event.

✨ The Gardens remain open as usual, and visitors are welcome to continue enjoying the beautiful surrounds throughout the day.
