🏆 DAYBORO POOL & GYM – VENUE OF THE YEAR! 🏆
What an incredible week for our little venue! 💙
I am beyond proud to share that Dayboro Pool & Gym has been awarded Venue of the Year – QLD/NT at the Belgravia Leisure Get Connected Conference this week!
This is an enormous achievement, and one that means even more when you consider that Dayboro is a small, seasonal venue. Our pool only operates for part of the year, while our gym remains open throughout the winter months so we can continue providing a place for our community to stay active and connected.
To be recognised as Venue of the Year amongst venues across Queensland and the Northern Territory is something our entire team should be incredibly proud of. 🥹🏆
This award isn't just about numbers or results. It reflects the countless hours, extra effort, early mornings, late finishes, problem-solving, teamwork and genuine care that our staff put into Dayboro every single day.
Our team doesn't just come to work and do a job. They care about our members, our swimmers, our families and our community. They know our regulars by name, celebrate our members' achievements, support one another and constantly look for ways to make our little venue better.
Over the past season, our team has worked incredibly hard to grow our programs, increase our memberships, improve our services and create a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our gates. The growth we have achieved is a direct reflection of the dedication and commitment of this team.

This award is also a reflection of the amazing community that supports us. Thank you for choosing our facility, supporting our programs, bringing your families through our gates and continuing to believe in what we are doing. We couldn't have achieved this without you.
💙 A little personal news…
I also wanted to take this opportunity to let our wonderful Dayboro community know that I won't be returning as the Venue Manager at Dayboro this season.
I will be moving across to take on the role of Manager at Caboolture Pool & Fitness.
This has been an incredibly difficult decision because I have absolutely loved my time at Dayboro. I have had the privilege of working with some truly amazing people and have met so many incredible locals who use and support our facility.
Dayboro has become so much more than just a workplace for me, and I will genuinely miss being part of this wonderful community.
But don't worry… you can't get rid of me that easily! 😂💙
I'll still be around and will be supporting the team behind the scenes as we transition into the new season.
Leaving Dayboro on a Venue of the Year win feels like the perfect way to celebrate what this incredible team has achieved.
I am so incredibly proud of everything we have accomplished together.
