Congratulations to all our students who participated in the Goldfields Cross Country today! With the sun shining, it was a fantastic day filled with determination, resilience and outstanding sportsmanship. It was wonderful to see everyone cheering on not only their fellow DPS friends, but also friends from other schools.

We are incredibly proud of the effort each and every student put in—what an achievement!

A special congratulations to those students who will be representing our school at the next level. We wish you the very best of luck!

This is the kind of call I love making.

This morning, I spoke with Ali and Trudi from Daylesford Primary School to share some incredible news – $6.7 million is on the way.

Visiting local schools is one of the best parts of my role, and I know this will mean so much to the students, staff, and families of Daylesford.

This investment will deliver a brand new facility to replace Block D, along with new heating and cooling in Blocks A and C – making a real difference to everyday learning.

Because every child deserves a great local public school, and every family deserves the best for their kids.

That’s what the Victorian Budget 2026/27 is delivering.

Such a great outcome for Daylesford.

Thank you to our school community, school leaders and choir who attended the ANZAC day service today. Our leaders respectfully laid a wreath and the choir led the National anthem beautifully.

We are inviting students and their families to attend the ANZAC day parade and laying of the wreaths in Daylesford tomorrow morning. Our senior choir has been invited to sing at the ceremony. We will meet at the Town Hall just before 10.30am. Students should wear full school uniform.
