"የእመርታ ቀን

አባቶቻችን የኢትዮጵያን ዳር ድንበር በደምና በአጥንታቸው አስከብረው ታላቅ ሀገር አውርሰውናል፤ ዛሬ ደግሞ እውነተኛ ሉዓላዊነትን እያረጋገጥን ያለነው ከልመናና ከጥገኝነት በተላቀቀው አዲሱና ታሪካዊው መንገዳችን ነው! በሚሊዮን በሚቆጠር ዶላር ስንዴ ከማስገባት ተነስተን ዛሬ የአፍሪካ ቀዳሚ ስንዴ አምራች በመሆን የሚሊዮን ዶላሮችን ወጪ ማስቀረት ችለናል። በ«ሌማት ትሩፋት» የምግብ ዋስትናን በተግባር እያረጋገጥን፣ በ«ኢትዮጵያ ታምርት» ንቅናቄም አዳዲስ ኢንዱስትሪዎችን በማስፋፋትና የሥራ ዕድል በመፍጠር ሉዓላዊነታችንን እያረጋገጥን እንገኛለን። ከዚህ ቀደም የማይደፈሩና አይነኬ ይባልላቸው የነበሩ ከባድ የማክሮ-ኢኮኖሚ ሪፎርም ውሳኔዎችን በቁርጠኝነት በመተግበር፤ የሀገራችንን ኢኮኖሚ በፅኑ መሠረት ላይ እየገነባን እንገኛለን። እነዚህ ሁሉ ታላላቅ ድሎች ኢትዮጵያ በሚያጋጥሟት ውስጣዊና ውጫዊ ፈተናዎች ሸብረክ ሳትል በፅናት መጓዝ መቻሏን የሚያረጋግጡ ህያው ምስክሮች ናቸው፤ ይህ የእመርታ ጉዟችን ለመጪው ዓመት የሰነቀው ተስፋ እጅግ ግዙፍ ነው!"
